Arion Crosby, a New Kid Racer is on Track at the National Philippines Karting Series.

A new kid is competing in Carmona Racing Circuit and his name is Arion Crosby. Arion who is just 13 years old, underwent serious training when he engaged the current Karter of the Year, multi-titled racer Miguel Quiñones to teach him the basics of driving a competition go-kart in Palawan International Circuit last July, 2022.

Seeing his rapid progress and more developed skills gained after a few skills enhancement sessions, Arion accepted the invitation to race in Carmona Racing Circuit in Cavite, joining the DRQ Motorsports team. Though he started late competing in the last few remaining rounds of Rok GP and Rotax Max Challenge Philippines Series the experience was intended as a "shakedown" for him to learn and feel the level of legit National Karting competitions where races are sanctioned by the Automobile Association Philippines (AAP). There was even a stage where Arion placed 2nd in the qualifying heat of a round in the Rotax Series showing that the newbie has the capability of slugging it out with the more experienced veteran racers in the Junior Class.

In sum, Arion performed well above expectations in his stint as a new racing talent of DRQ Motorsports Team - "The Home of the Champions". Arion is committed to continue honing his driving skills in preparation for the 2023 National Karting Series which starts as early as March, next year.
