Continuous Improvement for Kid Racer Dino Pastor in the recent Petron Blaze 100 ROK GP Cup.

Dino Pastor continuously improves his performance when he placed 3rd Runner Up in the recent Petron Blaze 100 ROK GP Series (Round1) in Palawan International Circuit (PIS) held last May 15, 2022. This win was a follow-up in his recent participation made as a Junior Class racer in the ROTAX Max Philippine Challenge where he also reach podium by finishing 4th Runner Up.

Dino, who is a 3rd Gen Pastor Racing Brothers is the eldest son of the famous FIA rated Asian V8/TA2 Champion Race Car Driver Don Pastor experienced also some difficulties in competing in an unfamiliar PIS track. It is his first time to race in a track that has 15 turns spread around the 1.3-kilometers-long technical-type of raceway which is located in Sta. Monica, Puerto Princesa Palawan. Adding to that situation, most karters from Manila including Dino arrived only days before the actual competition thus limiting their seat time on practice. On his first day of practice, due to the delay in the arrival of his official competition kart, Dino was forced to do his track workout in an old go-kart. The practice was even more difficult because the borrowed temporary kart suffers intermittent mechanical problem. It was only a day before race day that he was able to practice in his own competition kart. Nevertheless, he made no excuses performing better in the actual time trial, to qualifying, and up to the Finals in the Junior category. He did in fact employed a tactical approach on his way to the Finals as he combined patience and aggression in preserving his kart from serious mechanical trouble while improving his pace and lap times to finish the race and avoid a DNF.

Dino of Team RaceForm, who started his karting competitions right after graduation in the Petron Motorsports Karting Academy (PMKA), is considered a "wild card" contender wherein everybody is expecting him to show his true championship caliber in a matter of time. Guided properly by a team of technicians/tuners and supervised personally by his beloved great racing Dad, the kid could very well spring a surprise in the forthcoming 2nd round of the Rotax Max Challenge this June 18, 2022 at Clark International Speedway, Pampanga.
