DRQ MOTORSPORTS JUNIOR KART RACERS BERN CORPINO AND DANZEL WAYTAN WIN IN ROTAX MAX CHALLENGE PHILS.
Spearheaded by the troika of DRQ Team, Junior Class karters Bern Corpino, Joshua David Marquez and national track newcomer Danzel Waytan made a credible performance by finishing 1st and 2nd respectively in the Finals. Racer Joshua who finished a strong 3rd in the Qualifying Time Trial figured early in a racing incident that saw him dropped from his starting grid position paving the way for PCRC karter Ryan Sy to overtake him for 3rd place finish.
The race event entitled "Rotax Max Challenge Philippines Series" was held at Carmona Racing Circuit, in Cavite recently last April 10, 2022 which is supported by Petron and other sponsors. This 2022 race event is covered live via FB page livestream that allows the public including the youth to watch and have an idea about karting being an entry-level form of motorsports for youngsters.
