JAC S2: An affordable quality crossover

Last May 2021, JAC has officially launched the face lifted subcompact crossover called the S2 with an affordable price tag of P798,000.
The overall look of the JAC S2 isn’t anything serious but they have styled the trapezoidal grille, front bumper, rear bumper fog lights, headlights, tail lights and alloy wheels with a much more sportier look while the features inside already comes with the dual front airbags, ISOFIX-integrated seats, leathered-out interior as well as your very own Apple CarPlay and Android Auto to name a few.
My driving has been from city to provincial places I have enjoyed how a JAC S2 can be a practical crossover. I’m naming a few things that can help you decide why the JAC S2 variant can be your perfect wish for your first car:
1. Great Value in Features
Over the years, I learned that JAC is a Chinese automotive brand that has built presence in the Philippine market since 2001 but nothing can distinguish a brand that is just the same as availing other brands. It’s reliability and quality in design is a good alternative to consider especially when you leave your parking lot for city or provincial drives.

2. Under the hood
Powered by a 1.5L VVT Engine, the JAC S2 is much more fuel efficient. Last week, I visited Clark, Pampanga from Ayala Alabang, Muntinlupa City the reading of fuel efficiency producing 111 horses and a torque of 146 N.M was at average 7.5km/L for 124kms one way.
While the suspension is a Mac-Pherson independent for the front and Torsion Beam Semi-Independent at the rear it’s disc brakes for a crossover is comfortable for stopping power and safety.
The new JAC S2 will be rolling on 16s alloy rims still with a new design wrapped 205/55 tires.
4. Fulfilling Ownership
