DRQ Motorsports top driver Miguel Quiñones garnered the 2019 Junior Karter of the Year while his younger sister 17yo Shasha Quinones is the 2019 Overall Champion for the Petron Intermediate Class. Their awards aside from the other special awards they received in 2019 and 2020 earned them a ticket to compete in the forthcoming ROK GP Finals 2021 at SOUTH GARDA KARTING Track in Lonato, Italy (October 13 to 18, 2021) and on October 18 to 23 in Adria International Raceway at Localita Smergoncino, Cavanella, Italy for the IAME WORLD FINALS.
DRQ Motorsports team is presently being coached by multi-consecutive Karter of the Year John T. Dizon while the karts are tuned by the veteran local and international race mechanic Junior Capuyan. The siblings are the children of the renowned Aesthetic Surgeon Dr. Ricardo Galvez Quinones, founder of the DRQ Motorsports team.
As background, The South Garda Karting track has been built by Geom. Corberi back in 1988. Featuring a length of 1200 mt., a width of 9/10 mt., and a grandstand capacity of 2000 people, the circuit is one of the most important International tracks. The circuit is CIK FIA homologated and has been specifically designed to deliver strong emotions. It has been recently renovated and widened to provide drivers with the highest fun and adrenaline.
Every year the track houses many International Competitions, such as the Winter Cup and, in the past seasons, it hosted many editions of the European and World Championship including this year 2021 ROK GP Finals, which always draw the attention of the lovers of this sport from all over the world.

On the other hand, the other venue that Miguel will compete also is in Adria International Raceway. The Adria International Karting track was born on November 1st, 2014, and has quickly become an icon recognized worldwide among the tracks dedicated to karting. It is a 1,302-meter track, CIK FIA approved, with wide escape routes. It is one of the two tracks in the world, and the only one in Italy, to also have homologation for night races.

In South Garda Karting Circuit venue, where Miguel will race first upon arrival in Italy, is entered as a Senior ROK participant, where over a hundred Europeans and Asians are set to compete. The number of drivers in the grid is a challenge for Miguel to show his wares as the Philippines lone entry to the said event and a strong early performance in the qualifying is a must for him to reach the Finals.
The second race which is in Adria Raceway slated for 18th to 23rd of October, Miguel will join hands with his younger sister Shasha to compete among the world's best in the IAME World Finals event. Reminiscent of the Fil-Am Bumgarner's Mark and Michelle sibling racers of old, Miguel and Shasha are now the new millennials pure Filipino karting duo to compete internationally. Backed all-in and supported by their parents Dr. and Dra Ricardo Galvez Quiñones, the new sibling racers welcome this nomination and opportunity to race offshore despite the Philippines' struggle to get past over 2 years of being affected by the pandemic seriously which has deterred the growth of Motorsports in the country.
