New Generation Racers Dino and Dayton of the Pastor Family Performed Well in Rotax Max Challenge

Sibling racers Dino of Team RaceForm, who is currently being coached by veteran Elson Carpio and little brother Dayton of Team Ethanworx-Raceform racing under the tutelage of the legendary Coach Edgen Dy-Liacco, performed well in the opening round of Rotax Max Philippines Series at the Carmona Racing Circuit in Cavite last April 10, 2022. They are the young sons of the famous FIA rated Asian V8/TA2 Champion Race Car Driver Don Pastor.

Overcoming less-seat time in practice and late entry-decision issues, brothers Dino and Dayton still fought well by finishing the race on podiums netting a 5th overall for Dino in the Rotax Junior class and 2nd place for Dayton in the Petron Cadet Novice. The challenge in their race preparations were also affected by their Dad-Champion Don Pastor's shuttling back and forth to Batangas Racing Circuit (BRC) and Carmona Racetrack (CRT) as he was also competing on the same weekend in the Petron Kagitingan Endurance Cup where his team emerged 2-hr-Class 2 Champions preventing him from full-time supervision of his racing sons in CRT.

The entry of the 3rd generation young Pastor Brothers into the world of Karting reminds us of the 2nd generation decade-ago tandem of brothers Enzo and Don Pastor, the racing champion sons of Philippines' own legend race car driver Tom Pastor. The competitions last weekend were so fierce that the young Pastor brothers who inherited vaunted racing genes from their Dad are also lucky to be under the wings of the two of the best karting coaches in the industry enabling the two kids to finish with worthy results.
With a longer time for preparations of their karts and more seat-time for them, the spectators are probably expecting a Championship podium from them in the next round which will happen soon this month of May.
